    Bitter springs got its name from the taste of the water (don't drink the water...not advisable)...LOVELY! We went during the dry season, water was just perfect for a dip! This pool seems to be quite a bit more quiet and calm than the Mataranka Thermal Pools; it was less crowded. Lots of people brought their pool noodles and placed their thongs(sandals) on the end of their pool noodle as when you flow down to the bottom of the pool and need to get out and walk to the start as the current takes you to a place you can't swim further. No worries though, you can swim up current or float at the end of the pool.

    Jungle shrouded natural springs. Great to just float with the current. To be honest, I thought Katherine springs were much better. Very crowded when we went and a lot of scummy algal growth all around the shore.

    A lovley place for a swim in the warm mineral water this is a must go a do in my opinion...natural untouched buy man just left as it should be
